  TRAVEL AND NATIONAL SUMMER TEAMS TRYOUTS

• Age Groups: U13-U17
• Tryout Date: April 17th
• Tryout Time: 5 PM to 6 PM
• Tryout Location: HEAT Shields 
• Tryout Fee: $20

TRAVEL AND NATIONAL SUMMER TEAMS 

• Season Start: May 4th
• Practice Frequency: Twice-weekly
• Cost (Non-HEAT players): $850
• Cost (HEAT 2026 players): $600 to $700 (depends on level and tournament schedule)
• Note: USAV and/or AAU memberships are required and are not included in the program price.

We are looking to fill our Travel Teams:

• U13: Coach Bobby - VVA, Sunset Cup, and Hawaii
• U14: Coach Juan - VVA, Sunset Cup, and Hawaii
• U15 Travel Teams Logan and Jordan - VVA, and Emperor’s Cup
• U16 Travel Jenn - VVA, and Emperor’s Cup
• U17: Coach Ryan - VVA, Sunset Cup, and Hawaii
• U18: Coach Kevin - VVA, Emperor’s Cup, and Hawaii

We are seeking positions for our National teams:

• U14 National Boo - JVA West Coast Cup,  WCVBA Norcal Invitational, and Arizona Volleyball Festival.
• U15 National Junior -  JVA West Coast Cup and Hawaii
• U16 National Ryan - JVA West Coast Cup
• U17 National Boo - JVA West Coast Cup,  WCVBA Norcal Invitational, and Arizona Volleyball Festival.

If you are already part of these teams and your coach has informed you that you are participating in the expansion season, you do not need to attend these tryouts.

Event Details:

Under Armour Emperor's Cup

• Location: Las Vegas Convention Center
• Dates: May 9-11 (3 days)

JVA West Coast Cup

• Location: Long Beach Convention Center
• Dates: May 23-25 (3 days)

NCVA Sunset Cup

• Location: @theGrounds, Roseville
• Dates: May 23-25 (3 days)

WCVBA Norcal Invitational

• Location: @theGrounds, Roseville
• Dates: June 6-7 (2 days)

Hawaiian Island Volleyball Festival

• Location: Honolulu, Hawaii
• Dates: June 11–14 (4 days)

Arizona Volleyball Festival 

• Location: Phoenix, Arizona
• Dates: June 25–28 (4 days)

Travel and Lodging expenses are not included.

All information will be sent out via email after tryouts.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for check-in. Show up ready to play! Show up fully dressed with everything you will need; pads, towels, water, hand sanitizer, if you  need it bring it. 

We will do our best to contact every athlete within 48 hours of  the final tryout session.  If you are selected will we let you know the expectations of being on the team.
